Block 15 Distribution Presents: Meet And Greet Coldfire Brewing!

Our second brewery showcase presented by Block 15 Distribution this month is with Coldfire Brewing!

Coldfire Brewing has been around since 2015, founded by two brothers with a passion for small batch beers, barrel aged production and meticulously crafted beers all around. Since then, they have grown to win multiple GABF awards, World Beer Cup awards and have been honored with Oregon's Medium Sized Brewery of the Year last year!

These guys make some pretty amazing beers and we want to showcase exactly what they do this Friday. Join us and the team from Coldfire as we celebrate their beers on draft and in the bottle shop. Grab some to-go, or sit and have a pint with the two brother, Dan and Stephen.

AVAILABLE ON DRAFT:

Coldfire Czech Pils - Pilsner

Coldfire Seven - Pale ale

Coldfire Project Zero - IPA

Coldfire Project Nelson - Hazy IPA

Coldfire Cellar Culture - Blended wild ale brewed in collaboration with de Garde

MORE ABOUT COLDFIRE BREWING:

"Founded in 2015 by brothers Dan and Stephen Hughes, ColdFire began as an artisan brewery rooted in creativity and craft. At our original Eugene location, we brew small, independent batches and barrel-aged specialties, while our production brewery in Junction City keeps your year-round favorites brewing just down the road.

Honored as Oregon's Medium-Sized Brewery of the Year in 2025, ColdFire proudly celebrates a tradition of excellence — winning 7 GABF medals, 4 World Beer Cup medals, and 14 Oregon Beer Awards, including Gold for our beloved Czech Pils.

Dan's brewing journey began in college, when he convinced his brother to homebrew as a way to enjoy good cheap beer. After several years of military service and a career in healthcare management, Dan returned to his passion and co-founded ColdFire Brewing with his brother in 2015. At ColdFire, Dan leads operations, sales, and production — and when he's off the clock, you'll likely find him in the garage, wrenching on a vintage motorcycle with his son.

With a background in microbiology and years of experience as a medical scientist, Stephen brings a deep understanding of fermentation to his craft. Before opening ColdFire, he interned at several breweries and refined the original recipes on a small pilot system with his brother. Whether he's culturing yeast in the lab, brewing on the deck, or tending barrels, Stephen brings curiosity and care to every detail — and outside the brewery, he's devoted to his favorite role: being dad to three amazing daughters."
