Two brands, Crux Fermentation Project & Tumalo Cider, both from Columbia Distributing are formed under one umbrella company called Oregon Beverage Collective. This newly formed company has comprised itself with up to 5 brands in hopes for a stronger shared commitment to preserving local legacy brands, investing in community, and building a sustainable future for regional beverages. We here at Belmont Station love both of these companies and wanted to work with Columbia in a way to showcase them together now that they are working together.
So come on down this Thursday for one of the last Columbia Distributing events this month and see for yourself that "legacy" doesn't mean older or familiar, in fact, these brands continue to push boundaries and envelopes with beer and cider evolution that is sure to become a new or redefined favorite of yours!
We will be featuring both on draft as well as in cans to-go in the bottle shop.
AVAILABLE ON DRAFT:
Crux Bochi Bochi - Japanese style lager
Crux Tough Love - Barrel aged imperial stout
Crux Beerphoria - Hazy IPA
Tumalo Dry - Dry cider
MORE ABOUT CRUX FERMENTATION PROJECT:
"Housed in a former transmission shop and mill supply store, Crux Fermentation Project was built by a community of beer lovers. Crux brewmaster Larry Sidor is always in pursuit of the next great beer—beer that defies taste profiles with its complexity and creativity. We’ve designed our brewery to allow for non-traditional brewing methods like decoction mashing, open fermentation, oak barrel aging, wild yeast strains and experimental hops."
MORE ABOUT TUMALO CIDER:
"Specializing in small batch, artisan cider with a focus on dry, complex apple profiles. Stay tuned for our cider lineup -including perfectly balanced dry to semi-sweet blends, as well as unique styles inspired by tradition, creativity, and the Central Oregon landscape.
Our promise to you is to make the best damn cider we can. Dry, full of flavor, complex, balanced, and original; a true northwest cider brewed in the heart of the high desert.
Tumalo Cider is a reflection of ourselves as well as the roots we grow from - roots deep in the Central Oregon community. So please, grow with us, share the journey, and follow Tumalo Cider Company as we pursue the absolute best cider you've ever tasted."
