Our good friends at Von Ebert Brewing reached out to us earlier this year and asked if we wanted another go at our collaboration IPA called Volleyball Soupdance. And of course we said with resounding excitement "YES!!"
You might remember this amazing IPA from a couple years back. It started as an anniversary IPA for us and has since made a few re-appearances either in cans or draft only. This year we are bringing both the draft AND the cans back! Starting today, you can join us in the bar for a pint or two and you can again, take some home with you from the bottle shop.
This IPA won't last long, so be sure to snag some for yourself ASAP.
If you have ever wondered where the name "Volleyball Soupdance" comes from, look no further.
The story goes that during Covid times, when the taprooms at Von Ebert needed more stock of their flagship and award winning IPA, Volatile Substance, they would call to whomever under a mask and Volatile Substance sounded a lot like "Volleyball Soupdance" and after hearing this story from the team at Von Ebert, we agreed that has to be the name of our beer now. Everyone here at Belmont Station loves Volatile Substance, so it was only fitting to not only brew a beer similar to it, but to take an inside joke at Von Ebert and apply it to our very own beer.
We are so excited to share this beer with you all again and we cannot wait to try it!
