IF it was good (big "IF") I'd gladly admit it. In fact, I think I praised them a while ago for Redbridge. Not only is it the best gluten-free beer I've tried, it's quite possibly the best thing I've ever had from A-B...

Unfortunately our local A-B reps seem too concerned with pushing the main line products, so chances are even if it becomes available it'll be tough to find around here...

Had all three of the Faust products about three weeks ago.

My notes:

Faust Early American Pilsner - Lotsa Saaz and a little Hallertau, a yeast that reminded me of the Brewmaster Private Reserve. Body was too light (as usual) but the hopping rate generous for AB

Grade=B-

Faust Dortmunder - All malt grain bill featuring Munich and Pale malts giving it a nice firm body...darker golden color than I expected. Hops are 100% Hallertau and will serve as a decent palate-trainer for my sales force.

Grade=B

Faust Dubbel - Dark copper body with Burgundy hues. Grain bill is Munich, roasted, and Caramel-80. Yeast is undetermined but very tasty, imparting a sweet, passionfruit midtaste with a roasty finish dotted with hints of banana.

Grade=A-
