The Big Move
The move has happened, there were only a couple casualties, and we're open for business at our new location:
4500 SE Stark
Portland, OR 97215
503.232.8538

I apologize for the lack of posts updating everyone about the move, but we haven't had internet access for several days. I snapped a bunch of photos of the process, so if you're interested you can click here for a gallery. The gallery has the last pictures ever taken of the old location as well as a series of pictures showing the new placed getting filled with products.
Displays and fixtures are still being arranged and filled, and there's a couple weeks worth of work to do on the cafe before it opens, but all the beer is in coolers and ready to go.
It's been a slow, painful process, but the worst is over and we're happy to be getting settled in. Stop on up and see us soon.

The new place looks pretty cool! I for one can't wait to check it out.
However, my concern is that you're moving the beers out of the dark, (and naturally) UV protected cooler into beer/soda display cases that don't have UV protection. Do they?
I respectfully retract my previous questioning about the UV protected coolers. I see now from an earlier post that the lights are UV protected. :) Cool!
Congratulations, Belmont Station! (whoa, that's a mouthful) I can't wait to check out the new space.
Check out the new space yesterday on opening day!
It looks great! I think people will really dig the selfserve aspect and the cafe will be great when ya open it....
I'll be back to hangout, have a beer on tap, have a little food and chill...
Congrats, looks sweet! Can't wait to come down and check it out, be sure to post when the Pub will be Open

Thanks for all your kind words! It's been a rough couple days and the support we've received from the local beer community has been greatly appreciated.
All day today there's been a steady stream of well-wishers and eager shoppers coming in to visit. Many people have already commented on how the new layout is much more user-friendly and spacious.
To calm anyone's fears about our treatment of the beer: EVERY flourescent bulb in the building has UV filter tubes installed, and we removed all the non-esential light to offer even more protection.
Best of all, we'll have our point-of-sale system running in the next couple weeks. It will allow me to track how long each beer has been in the shop and help assure that nothing sits for longer than 6-8 weeks. It'll also have the obvious benefit of allowing us to scan things quickly and speed up the checkout process.
One quick note about hours: As far as I know we're going to be open from 10am-9pm Mon-Sat and 12pm-9pm on Sunday. Once the cafe is open we'll expand the store hours a bit, but we have to take it one step at a time and get some new people trained up first.
Thanks again for sticking with us the last few months, and I look forward to seeing you all in the store!
Good luck with the new location!
Just dropped by this weekend to see the new digs. Looks great and business was healthy - good to see. Picked up a few rarities to go, though I'm excited to see the new cafe.
