Inflatable Pubs? Heck Yeah!

From the "What will they think of next" dept:

"Designed and built by Airquee Ltd, The pub is the latest development from Andi Francis, who also created the worlds first Inflatable Church. The pub is 40ft long, 19ft wide and 22ft high. It can be customised for use as a fully working pub, with room for a bar and 30 customers."

Oh man, I've got to get one of these. I don't know what I'd do with it, but I need one.

Safety? who needs safety! Apparently you can get an internal metal frame to add suport and provide bracing for a sound system, so I guess that would make it safer...

As to the atmosphere....I think it would be like drinking in one of those bouncy castle things, which could be kind of cool. It probably wouldn't work for any sort of permananet installation, but for events and festivals I think it would be quite popular.

If someone wants to order one for me I'll test it and provide feedback.

I bet they can only serve beer in plastic mugs - you know, don't want to bring down the pub!

I bet your right. One drunken person shatters a glass and next thing you know there's 30 people trapped in a vinyl tomb. I can see the headlines now...
